Regarding Hydra Cap, wouldn't it be fair to say that story arc is basically "prostituting" Cap's character to drum up sales? Isn't that what pimps do? They demean and damage the women they use in order to make money. "Oh .. don't worry," Brevoort and Spencer might say, "we might wash it away in a few months and all will be fine." But the damage will have been done. And , even worse if they profess they /won't/ undo it. I hope they choke on the profits!
Let me get this straight–you’re upset about Captain America, so you’re using the suffering of real people in a real life terrible situation to try to stir up emotions about it? I think that is an insult to the people who are actually forced into the sex trade. Way to use their suffering to make your point about a super hero comic book.
Marvel’s telling a story, and you’re under no obligation to like it or buy it. I hope someday you can enjoy Captain America comics again. Until then, I wish you well.
It’s called an analogy. You sorta work in publishing, so maybe you’ve heard of it.
